Ergin İnan

Ergin İnan and his work are given here within the framework of the artists personal erdowments and skills under the light of foregoing considerations. The vast number of his compositions widely dispersed in private collections, including his initial sketches and elaborate compositions of consummate art produced until 2001, had to be traced back and photographed before being listed in a proper choronlogical order, thus allowing us to follow the process his development as artist. Figures, insects, inscriptions and characters identified with objects that can be perceived by senses having been rendered visible transformed into pictoiral expression, i.e. the mysteries of Ergin İnans visual expressions, his paintings and symbolic world, have been scrutinized and enriched by a critical study, not overlooking the techniqued and methods thanks to which they have been created.
